the ultimate ski resort. Your mission is to build a winter
sports resort and provide the ideal facilities to keep your
holidaymakers happy and active. To succeed, you will need to think both
tactically and strategically, have a cool head on your shoulders when faced with
the unexpected and the ability to mange hundreds of tasks simultaneously!
As manager of your own winter sports resort throughout 90 missions you will
need to be proactive and head-off every crisis-bankruptcy, overbooking, labor
unrest, poor brand imaging, storms, accidents, avalanches, insufficient snow
cover, to name but a few.
Construct your resorts’ infrastructure including ski schools, accommodation,
facilities, local businesses, ski runs, après ski and provisions for different
winter sports...
The holiday makers you attract will have their own individual interests and
will be looking for a range of tailored activities to suit their own needs -
downhill skiing, snowboarding, sledding, walking, shopping, skating,
games, etc.
Skiers’ and snowboarders’ behavior depends on their own skill and the slopes
that you offer, e.g. families and groups will wait for each other at the bottom
of the runs!!
Realistic weather conditions and snow cover - the quality and depth of snow
cover changes according to the weather and the traffic on the slopes. Snow
machines, Ski Run attendants and snowploughs may prove indispensable!
